Tree branch strike and a bonus surprise

If working around trees, do not forget to look UP to make sure there are no broken limbs or tree tops that might fall on you.

Ye need to look up when in the woods either walking or on the tractor.

always looking up. We have Alders that are notorios for dying up top first. I am also fortunate with the tractor I have has a very heavy duty ROPS and Roof that is solid steel. Took a 6" limb the other day, straight down. Made a clang but no more than that.

Oh, face got worse. Ended up on antibiotics. Go figure....

Oh brother, last year I cut up a downed tree. Like an idiot, it was covered with vines and I just went right on cutting and spraying vine juice all over me. Needles to say, I was cover with poison ivy. A shot and prednisone. The prednisone wired me so bad I had to get off it quick. I was sweating like crazy and my heart was running about 256 beats a minute.
