has any one tried putting a turbo off a 7740 on a 6640. I am at 7000 ft and above sea level and I think a turbo off a 7740 would would really help my draw bar H.P. thanks

Yes i drove one for 2 years (6640 with 7740 turbo) with dual wheels all round on an umbilical slurry injector on it it had over 8000hrs when i left and he kept it for many years after,no issues and pulled like a train but too light .

do you know if the intake needs to be replaced, I know that the exhaust manifold needs to be replaced, Also is it possible to just turn up the injector pump, for the turbo. thanks

i believe the intake and air filter hoses or different also
