this is the earlist i ever planted so i will see what happens i heard from my parents and grandparents you always plant potatoes on good friday well first ever for me i planted 150 lb of potatoes today.:thumbsup:
harvesting is not bad a potatoe plow make it alot easier they sell for $75 to $125 well worth it i put pvc pipe @the end of esch row in the middle of the row so when the vines die i can tell where to plowI can assure you that planting potatoes is a darn sight easier than harvesting them. Grubbing potatoes can be hard work during the summer's heat. My wife and grandson planted potatoes about 3 weeks ago here, and we already have plants up about 4" tall. The next thing will be pullin' dirt in around the plants and then get ready to fight the potato beetles. It's always sumthin'.![]()
