Price Check Price opinion on 1992 John Deere 955 -855 hours

Hello, this is a great community. Long time lurker! I am on the verge of buying a 1992 John Deere 955 with the 53inch loader and backhoe. Machine has 855 hours on it and is in decent shape outside of fading of the paint and some dry rot starting on a couple of hoses. Asking price is $12,900 but I'm thinking more around $10,500. Located in Mass/RI. Thoughts on price? Am I lowballing?
