one thing i'm sad about is walmart almost no longer carries any pc equipment. used to be you could get hdd's and vid cards.. cdroms and such there.. even memory. now mostly no on all those..

All site to store now. That way they stock one of each at the warehouse and you get it a couple of days later.

Depends on the size of the store. But they are all reducing the pc stuff to some extent and increasing the telephone stuff. The computer market is pretty well saturated so the sales volume has switched to smart phones and pads with internet access.
Just like the digital cameras. The phones are replacing them.
If you want a high resolution digital SLR you have to order it or go to a big town with a struggling brick and mortar camera store.
So we are putting local America out of work with our " have to save a few bucks via internet philosophy" As the businesses close only individual property owners are left to support the roads, cops, fire departments, and such, so our taxes skyrocket and the services dwindle. Money is money, so did we really save anything in the long run??
