There is no wheel width adjustment on wheels built for R-4's; the rims are welded to the wheel centers

My tractor came [ordered] with R-4's and they ARE adjustable. I was also told they would not be but they are, made me happy. CJ

No off set option on the tiller. My tires are loaded so i really did not want to fool with it but I will think about it. Thanks.

I changed my wheels and tires width on my L5740 loaded with RimGuard by myself. (649lbs of ballast per tire) Just don't get in a hurry and be smart about it and you can do it just fine. An extra hand wouldn't hurt though.

yep was going to say the same thing, no adjustment on the wheels on my new Kioti or the Kubota I traded off. Both have solid wheels with R4's

Dingo's rear wheels are adjustable though, look at his pic post in the other thread. Also all my dealers 40/45/50's have R4's with adjustable rear rims, which I think makes alot of sense.

As for the tiller, you should be able to get enough offset with the 3pt, just watch you keep both the adjustments on the lower arms so the one side will be in tension before the other side is in compression. Also don't go too far as you can start prying on the clevis where the lower arms attach to the tractor.
I was going for maximum offset with my rear blade this winter for plowing and I was lucky I didn't break something back there before I really looked at how it all worked and what the limits were. I guess a tiller shouldn't have any side loads at all but just in case you forget to lift it while turning or something.

Interesting, maybe it is just the DK35se that are not adjustable,? Mine are solid. The 35 and the 40/45/50 use different wheels and tires that much I know. As the DK40se was higher and had bigger wheels and tires. Both were R4's

Why are you worried about it? I use a 5' Yanmar tiller behind my tractor that has a 74" track. The ground isn't compacted enough to hurt anything when driven once over. If your planting something like grass or greens where your just broadcasting seeds its nothing a quick run over with a hoe cant fix. I only ask because it might not be a pretty but I've never run into an actual problem because of a few tractor tracks in the garden after tilling.

I'm curious. How did you move those heavy filled wheels?

Back on the original topic, I had my dealer adjust the back wheels on my DK45S so I could get through a 6 ft door. Both rims and the disks can be reversed on mine. I think he had a tire place come and do the actual work
