I haven't read much of this thread, so it may be a duplicate, but one of my grandfather's favorites was:
"It's already saucered and blowed"
And I wonder how many of you under the age of 60 even know what that means.:laughing:
I'm guessing it refers to soup... It's already in the bowl (saucer) and has been cooled down the right temperature (blowed).
In other words, it's ready to use so don't screw around with it.
