Yeah, if he took the wheel barrow off, it wouldn't be overloaded.

I may be wrong, but I see no conceivable reason that the truck is capable of even making it out of the lot. Upon close observation, just look at the bed of the truck. Although there appears to be a strap giving a minimum of stress relief to the load on the side racks, even a minute shift in the load would cause the racks to be incapable of withstanding the weight of the load. If the picture is truly authentic, the occupants of the truck must have finally realized that any more forward movement would be risky and a danger to others on the roadway, and drifted into the store's lot to check out the situation. I was raised and even now am presently living in an area where overloaded pickup trucks are common, but never, ever have I seen one overloaded to the extent that the one in that photo is.

'shopped or real, it absolutely typifies the wood ticks of our area, nonetheless. Just gotta have an appreciation for north wood guys. :D

Must be my relatives.

Real or not, that seem to be a stupid idea.
I can see lots of problems and potential problems.

Just kidding, he's not over loaded cause the bumpers not dragging the road!

I observed a load of firewood in my town this winter that was about twice as tall as that one. I really wish I had a picture. It was a 250 or 350 series truck in my case. It scared the living ***** out of me, as I was driving down a two lane road and it passed me on the left. It had ratchet straps galore, and actually the springs weren't overly sagging, but definitely unsafe at any speed! It probably only cleared the traffic lights by a couple feet. They had all the split wood stacked really tight- this guy had 6cord back there or I'm a monkeys uncle.

I would hate to be in front of him setting at a red light. I have loaded heavy a few times but never like that. Also looks like the frame rails are bending.

It looks to me like he has busted his right rear leaf spring shackle. I have done that, but with a load of seed wheat, not wood.

Looks like the da##ed scrappers here. THere was the lady and her husband at the super center in Corinth MS. She was in an F150 about a 90 model. the frame was bent between the cab and bed. It was loaded down with tractor weights. The trailer was a 20 foot rig with 4 foot side boards. It was loaded all the way to the top No breaks on the trailer. The front of the truck was light. SHe apperently didnt make the scrap yard by 1100. She was headed to Alabama to unload. THat whole rig was driving all over and every time she braked she would almost lose it.

We had another hand here that weiged at the feed mill to take his load to a satelilte scrapper without scales. My neighbors son hauled a 4500 pound carcass to a fork lift in the back of an older dodge dakota. Even hauled its twin through the DOT weigh station. THen later he had a Dodge caravan with the little reciver hitch on back pulling a tall trailer with about a 20 inch taller hitch than the van. Topp it off he had an 8500 pound truck cab on the trailer. Passed 5 DOT cars harrassing log trucks.
