Price Check BX2230 with LA211-2 Front Loader Package

Trying to decide a fair price for my Kubota BX2230 with LA211-2 Front Loader Package. Purchased in Florida in 2005. Paid $9,175 + $2,500 + $130 grille guard.

Now located in New York State, near Cooperstown, in decent condition, everything working but obviously some signs the machine has worked, mainly clearing some land in Florida (had a bush cutter on the back but have sold that). About 50 hours on the clock.

We will be leaving these country parts for a new job in the city, so what do folks think this rig might be worth today?

Replacement for this would be USD13k out the door .
With only 50 hours on the clock ( is this right ? ) I'd
start at 8900 and see what happens . It's 2 models
old and alot of folk like 60months finance deal , so
you're going to get lots of low balls . In the end, you
can't sit on it ( no pun intended ) so you'll have to
play it as it comes . Nice unit , unlike the BX##50
rubbish bits and annoying transmission ...............
You've got a better chance of selling it without a MMM
or rear pto mower , as it now stands.

Agree 100% with OrangeRidge.

The lack of the belly mower will turn away some folks, and there's not much you can do about that.

I see these sell on Craigs and through local bulletin boards for around $7000 but they have many more hours than your tractor.

Put 'er up for sale and play it by ear, as that's all that can be done. TractorHouse will let you place a free ad with pictures too! They have to call you back and actually know they are talking to a human, but it is pretty easy. In this economy, plunking down $7000+ dollars cash for a non warranty tractor will take the right buyer. I believe, if it is as clean as you say it is, that $8000 would be top dollar. Sometimes they sell in an hour and sometimes they just don't even get phone calls. Just gotta find the right buyer and there's no predicting when that happens. Best wishes for success.

Welcome to TBN, by the way. Do you have the loader valve already plumbed on your BX?

No i didn't realize how old this post was, anyone know the best way to post an ad to ask on this forum if a la211 loader is available? I was planning on taking the tractor to the dealer to get the valve installed once i found a loader, they said it would be 200-250 bucks installed.

Just post a thread in the Kubota Owning/Operating forum on what you're looking for. There's a For Sale section but I don't think anyone with what you are looking for will see a Wanted Ad there. Having said that, I think it's unlikely you'll find anyone looking to sell just the loader for your BX2230, but you never know.

If you can't find one used, or order one new, there's always this option available, though not a full fledged front end loader:
