You can get better prices on the Kioti. $18K for the CK35 would be reasonable. Have you looked at bobcat? Same tractor as Kioti with different loader.

Looked at both the Mahindra and the Kioti the past month. Ended up buying the Kioti 4WD 41HP DK40SE for under 20K after taxes (TAC enterprise\Moulton, AL). Kioti now has a Free loader program for the DK series. Both tractors are good but I think Kioti offers more standard options for about the same price.

Congrats on your new tractor! I have ordered my DK45SE from them as well, seems to be a really good dealer. They were awarded "Most Improved Dealer" by Kioti at the dealer's meeting early this month, as well as being desiginated a Kioti "Five paw dealer."

I had pretty much settled on Kioti or Bobcat...until yesterday. While picking up parts at my New Holland dealer I saw that they're now carrying Mahindra (which I had never considered). After checking out the features and specs, talking to my salesman (the owner) and doing some reading here at TBN... Mahindra just rose to the top of my list.

Not the model that you're looking at, but holy moly...the 5035 PST is a beast!

If I was in the market for a tractor of the size and weight of the 5035, then it would for sure be among the top of the list to consider. They are very nice machines and as you have said, they are "a beast".

Yes, TAC enterprise were very honest and I think the dealership made a difference in my decision to go with Kioti over Mahindra. Just curious, what purpose are you using your DK45SE? I am mainly using mine to bush hog but considered the DK45SE to do square hay bales. I was told that the 41 hp with a 34 PTO was too small to do a square bales? Is this true for the Kioti? Also, did not buy a bush hog, but was wondering if a 6 FT Rhino would be a good fit for very tall grass/small trees for my DK40SE or should I consider a 5ft?

I personally don't think the B3200 should be used to compare the the CK30/35 and maybe not the Mahindra models either. You'd need to look at the L series for specs or the Grand L for features. I'm partial to Kioti, although there are no Mahindra dealers around so I don't know much about them. The CK27/30/35 are the same tractor with different hp ratings. On a Bobcat forum, somebody just bought the CT235 (CK35) for only $750 more than the CT230, and that is well worth it. Any more than that and I'd stick to the CK30.

Line them up on paper, then go drive them all is my advice. Some of the number I like to compare:

B3200 - 1764 lbs, 23 PTO hp, 9.7 gpm hyr. flow
3616 - 2560 lbs, 29 PTO hp, 11.1 gpm hyr. flow
CK30/35 - 3055/3118 lbs, 23.5/26.5 PTO hp, 12.9 gpm hyr. flow

My use will be mostly cutting grass monthly or more often. I selected a Woods BB72X BrushBull. I debated the Rhino, but it is a bit heavier, I liked the quick change blade pins on the Woods, and I had read a lot of favorable comments on the Woods. The DK45SE only has 2 HP more on the PTO than the DK40SE, but I figured with a cab the air conditioning would rob a significant bit of HP from the PTO, so I went with the DK45SE. I selected the mower first, and then tried to match the size of the tractor to the size and weight of the mower.

I was told the Woods bush hog had shear pins vs. the Rhino had a slip disk with would be better for me considering I have a bunch of small trees (4-5ft) in my fields. I neglected mowing it the past 2 years and the trees have taken it over. With all these trees I would go through a box of new shear bolts in no time.
