I'm sorry this has happened to you and thank you for sharing because it is a tremendous learning experience for us all.

What was the micron rating of the wrong filter that was installed?

Did the tractor stop functioning after the filter change or did it take some time before nothing worked?

O dis not look up the micron of the othr filter. It took some time to lose all function, it was slow and jerky like air was in the system. While working it the cable lingage from the joystick to the valve failed which is where I shut down
