Source for John Deere parts?

Other than the dealer, what are my options for new/used parts?

I need a new joystick front end loader control and the dealer wants $750. I've evaluated installing a 2 spool control valve from one of the advertisers here ($300.00) but by the time I add up all the labor to custom fit the valve and the new hoses, I'm close to the JD price.

I'd like to find a used JD control, or a new one from an on-line discounter.

The tractor is a 4600.

I would keep an eye on ebay. One may pop up. As for JD dealers, check out JDequipment.com in London Ohio. They have alot of used and new parts at resonable prices. I've had good luck with them on older JD stuff.

I use Worthington Ag Parts for some of my stuff. Never had a problem with them. You can quickly search for the part using the JD, Ford, NH and etc part number on their website.

Worthington ag is a good source. If they dont have a used one try abiline machine.

I finally found the part number on jdpc.deere.com. Then I googled the part number (LVB25035) and found several leads. Looks like I can get a new one from a JD dealer for $400 instead of $750. Hooray!
