I too have the Ratchet Rake for my DK-40se/hst, in bright yellow, which contrasts nicely with my mostly black, but arguably charcoal grey tint FEL bucket.
It has the advantage of having two sets of teeth one set at right angles to the other, which allows, depending on use/need to use the larger or smaller set for the task at hand. Note: I also, prior to acquiring the Ratchet Rake, added Kioti's, made to fit reversible bucket edge. It is heavy duty and fits the holes in the FEL bucket predrilled at the factory. However, it does not, IMHO have holes close enough to its outer edges and hence the bar can, as mine did, get bent away from the FEL buckets factory edge. I took it off and had my dealer heat the edges and flatten it out and drill two equally spaced, (for reversibility), holes closer to the edges. Then he set his magnetic drill press on the bucket and drilled matching holes in the bucket. This got the job done, and seriously reinforces the entire bucket and saves the factory edge from becoming rounded off over time like lawn mower blades tend to do with use over time.
I use my log grapple to do moving of trees and boulders, etc. It is amazing at these tasks. My box blade is used primarily for grading long gravel drives and will be used in the near future for more serious scarifying of my crowned drive and other ditching type work. I too am considering adding a hydraulic type top link and side link to allow infinite adjustment of the BB, but can't currently justify the added cost. I did have my dealer add a second set of rear remotes and the second detent-less stick below the FEL joystick. So far this gets everything done I need done, except control of the BB from side and hydraulic top.
Murph, IT; remember, one man's black is another's dark grey!
