No women in TBN/Rural Living?

Well you guys are much more observant than me!

I only really notice the posters which post often in threads I view, the big three being Bill, Roy, and Bird, probably in that order.

Not that I'm insinuating any of those aforementioned members are in the least bit feminine :laughing:

I have noticed a few like Brandi and there may be others that have generic names. When I notice it is a women I take interest to see what they ask, how others answer and the back and forth.

The men (I think they are men!) always appear to answer as if they talking to anyone else. Most of the women (the few) write in more detail.

This can be interesting such as one lady in Europe who was a vineyard owner. She was discussing and asking questions for her husband and her about use of storage containers (SeaLand/MilVan).

I became interested in the back and forth as I wanted a container and her thread answered most, if not all, of what would have been my questions.

So man, woman or dog..there are a lot of discussions, give and take and worthwhile for me to check in each day. I use this site for answers where I once only went to Google, Looksmart, Wikipedia or others.

bindian (Brandi) is the only female who posts regularly that I can remember. I think a lot of women operate equipment, my wife does, but she has no interest in posting.

Reading your profile could be me or someone else. "Gardening, Reading, Fixing Things, Moaning About The Weather! Occupation Car Valeter". I do them all and have been a Car Valeter since I started dating and throughout most of my 32 years of marriage.

In the (Deep) South (USA) names ending in "ie" denote a girl. But, I am from the Deep South, a male, but my name ends in "ie". This occurred because I was born while my Father was fighting in Korea. He thought (not sure why) I was a girl, so he told Mother to give me the first name of JIMMIE. Glad it was not "Sue" as Mother did whatever my Dad said without question!
