Replacement engine oil

Lately I've switched everything to amsoil and I couldn't be happier

my 7.3 and 6.0 psd'd get the valvoline ultra blue full syn 5w40.. just switched my yukon over to a S rated full syn.. have a tractor on syn.. but most of them on dino 15w40.

plan on switching the alwnmower to syn.. don't use much anyway..

I have switched everything to Scheaffer oil car, truck, lawnmower, RV. In our race car it lowered the oil temp 20 degrees. They are the oldest oil refiner in the USA

I' ve never seen or even heard of Shaeffer oil in the Ark/La/Tex area. It must be only locally distributed. Where would one look to find this if he were interested in purchasing. Mostly all we get is Shell, Chevron, Exxon-Mobil products or if in Walmart you also get their generic brand who I have no idea who supplies, maybe Murphy Oil same as gasoline supplier but then again, I dont know where Murphy Oil is from either. Come to think of it, never seen Amsoil either although I see a lot written about it and have read about the inventor.

Shell Rotella is excellent stuff at a decent price.

I put the blue jug in everything. Riding lawnmower, Motorcycle, Car, Truck and ...oh yeah... my tractor. :laughing:

I ran Castrol Super GTX in my Chevy for years.
I switched to Quaker State 15 years ago. 10W30 in everything except the snow blower, it gets 5W30.

Schaeffer only sells through their own sales network. Prices vary depending on the vendor. I got 12 gallons of Supreme 7000 15-40 synthetic blend for $18 per gallon from the salesman I bought from.

Looks like the closest dealer is at least an hours drive from me in Prescott. I stocked up on Shell Rotella last time it was on sale so when that is finished maybe I will take a look at Prescott next trip I head to Houston. That is usually my first break for coffee and bathroom of I30 south

What grade are you running in the Yukon?
