Gotta bust your chops a bit here, JC. If that tach had an adjustment and I knew about it, do you think I'd have waited until you asked to tell PF about it?;):laughing: No sir! No tach adjustment that I know of.:confused3:

Yes Sir, Mr. Jim:) my mostest sincere apologies:D. I well knew there wouldn't be a chance as you know your rig like the back of your hand. I guess I wanted to just bring it up to PM that calibration is not a fixed point in space and can be adjusted or manipulated for a reason in different ways. By the way, I'm not a gambling man but I'll always bet my $ on you and your knowledge.:thumbsup:

Same here Jerry. I can imagine a CVT that has variable pto design .. can't imagine why.

Some aircraft used to use constant speed drives (variable input speed and fixed output speed) to grive generators but that's i don't snow ofany reason to put that on the pto of an Ag tractor!

BTW: Evidently the light is adjusted according to model of tractor. The Repair Manual says the proper adjustment is to turn until the arrow on the adjustment points at zero. I don't know what other model tractor these panels could be used on, but thats the total of what the Repair Manual says. They don't give you much additional info.
