I'm trying to determine if I have a hydraulic performance issue. It seems to me that the loader had the power to raise the front axle off the ground when I first got it. With the bucket rolled forward so the cutting edge is pointing down, I then try to lower the arms and raise the front axle. Does anyone with a GC know if this is normal to not be able to do this? I know if my backhoe is on that helps significantly, but I thought the loader could do this without the weight of the backhoe too.

It depends at what engine speed you was trying to do it at. At idle it will not do it . I was doing it today with out the BH on my 2310 with 675 hr.

At idle I can lift my tractor up with the FEL, I can also lift a 500 lb rock with the BH when idling. There is a guy who has a youtube video lifting a monster of a rock from his foundation with the BH on idle(GC2310)
Must have been a fluke, air, or cold fluid... A few days after posting this I was running the tractor at PTO rpm for a while when back dragging and grading. Went to life the front axle with the loader after to slide the mower under, no prob! Strange why I had an issue....
