Ok ok I know , sounds a bit odd....

But what I want to know is can I buy a plastic cab I saw one a while back.
You can buy the kit and add it on. Sometimes we do projects with limbs and sometimes we do projects where there is NO trees at all that might come close to cab.

If you get the cab from Kioti ... can you take it off? and how long would one expect it might take to take one off and put back on?

Its better to ask and know than not ask and kick your self later.

A factory cab does not easily come off. I would estimate a few hours, and everything is different than a ROPS machine. There are aftermarket cabs you can add on.. I have never heard of anyone taking one off. I don't think you want to do this.. the AC and the Heat is built into the factory CAB., You could maybe build something for a ROPS machine you could remove fairly easy. and there are electric heaters you can add.

The factory cab consist of the entire operator's station including floor plate, seat plate, and even the rear fenders. If you took it off you would sitting on the transmission to drive it.

I realize your thread says DK50 but to answer part of your question....yes you can get a cab from Kioti but it is only for the CK line.

I have the Kioti comfort cab on my CK30 and there are two things about it. 1) it doesn't come off easily and 2) There's no A/C.

This was also very expensive, more than the up charge for a factory cab on the DK. Adding A/C is possible, but also very expensive. In the end, it doesn't make sense, you either go for the factory cab, or you don't do a cab at all if you need A/C. Heater is no problem but plumbs into the cooling system and is something else that would have to be connected/disconnected.

Factory cab would be much worse, but they said mine took 1.5 days to install from scratch.
