Kioti DK45HSE
I'm new to the pack - just bought a DK45HSE a couple weeks ago. I've noticed that when the tractor is running at about 2K rpm, the position control lever vibrates down. didn't do this the first week, but now second week its become frequent. Is there an adjustment on this lever to tighten it up?

I have a lock down knob that slides on the same slot. See if you got that too.

Yes - I have the lock down knob. I use that if I don't have to have the lower position set at a particular height. More of a problem when I need that knob set and can't keep the implement raised above that.

So it wants to viberate up??

No, it vibrates down. I thought the knob was used to set the lower limit for height control - say for box blade grading or mower height. So in my case, if I have the mower on and want to maintain a specific height, I can't raise the mower to move to another place without it dropping back down on its own - just won't stay up. If I move the knob to hold it up, then I have to reset the mower height....seems like the lever ought to stay in one place.

I don't know if your 45 is made the same as my CK30hst, but take a look at where the lever connects to the shaft going into the tractor case. Mine has a metal band going around the shaft section that has a bolt to adjust the tightness. Mine was very stiff and I made the adjustment so it does hold but moves somewhat easily.

Thanks Vic. I appreciate the insight. I looked at this and it does appear there are some screw type couplers that can be adjusted. As luck would have it I didn't have the right size wrench but will remedy that tomorrow.

A simple fix is to drop the draft control down. I use this when I am riding down the road with a heavy implement (like my flail mower). It stops it from hitting the road...

Victor W, you have just answered the question I posed on the end of another similar thread. I have the same tractor and a stiff position control lever & noticed the pinch bolt on the shaft assembly and was wondering about it.
