Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the same problem? Today while mowing with my 3720 cab and wood 8' pull type mower. When I was going up a slight hill the tractor just stopped going forward. I let off the forward pedal and then reapplied it and it started moving again. This happened 3 times while I was trying to get to the top of the hill. Then I stopped shut the tractor off checked the hydraulic fluid and checked for lose wires under the tractor. I did not see any but I did wiggle all of them. It almost acts like a seat switch but I know I was not off of the seat. I ran the tractor for another 30min. with no problems. Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks UnclePaul

Did it flash an error on the display when it stopped?

It did not show any error codes.

Might try it again but turn the load match off first and see if any different.

Pressing both directional pedals at the same time will cause those exact symptoms.

Pressing both pedals at the same time will generate a yellow warning and an Error Code 01. Not so if you have the tractor in the wrong range, especially if there was a high pitched noise associated with slowing down. "C" is high range, typically for on-road travel and not usually suitable for mowing. "B" is mid-range where I get nearly all my work done". "A" is low range, I've only used it occasionally when doing heavy work where I didn't want the tires to slip - like towing a tree trunk or some such thing. I'm thinkin' your elbow may have knocked the range select lever backwards into "C"

I knew about pressing both pedals at the same time and I am pretty sure I did not do that but you never know. I was mowing in A range which is low range going about 3.5 mph top speed for that range at the PTO rated RPMs. The first time I did stop and take it out and put it back in A range but the next 2 time I never messed with the range lever. Thanks for the help.

Was going by memory - sometimes a bad thing at my age - and got the range selection backwards. I've corrected the mistakes above. It's easy to elbow the lever from mid to high, but an elbow strike seems less likely in low. Are you using load match and/or motion match and/or cruise control when this happens?

I was using load match but today I turned it off and re-mowed the field I had the problems in yesterday. Tractor ran fine and I did mow lower so there was some resistance on the PTO. Thanks everyone for your help. I will just have to run it and see what happens. Thanks again, UnclePaul
