Looked in that nest box and there was a small chicken snake, reached in and grabbed it wondering if that was the way Eddie Walker would do it.

OOps!

She got me twice while I adjusted the grip.

Yikes, were you hanging by your toes? :D Try rotating image.

If you had a snake fighting pig like Oscar, you'd have fared better.

Are you sure they're not poisonous? You seem to be suffering from vertigo. :D

There's a lesson to be learned here... I,m not sure what it is but there's got to be a lesson someplace.[(B]

Not to be a worry wart, but non-poisonous snake bites have a high risk of infection, so treat it with iodine or some other antibiotic just to be safe.

Did the poor snake die of food poisoning?

She was fine when I let her go six acres away from the chicken pen. I highly recommend jalopenas for breakfast, lunch, and supper. It wouldn't surprise none at all to hear the snake was still down at the pond sucking in water.

I washed the bites with trough water. Horse snot is THE cure for anything. Seriously, the bite marks are like pin dots now. I suspect it has a lot to do with the fast healing my body seems to have. I think it is all about having built up antibodies against injuries. LOL
