Looks like Verizon just cut the price from $249.99 to $99.99 for an upgrade....seriously considering doing the upgrade to replace my 4 year old Curve 8330.

What are your opinions of the Razr? To me 4G performance has little importance but strong battery life, an easy to use keyboard, and a good camera are what matters. Thanks for any input.

A few buddies have the Razr and like it.

Be aware that if you use a lot of data on your phone, Verizon is trying to get the old grandfathered "Unlimited" data plan guys off when they upgrade phone, supposedly.

I have one and like it. The screen is a tad larger than most so it works well with my bad eyes. :D Only question now is, if I am smart enough to have a smart phone.

if you like it get it now before the new plans come out...lock in unlimited for 2 years!

I got the Max so the battery life is equal to my Droid X battery life. With normal usage for me I have 70% left when I put it on the charger each evening.

just upgrading the phone does not do away with the unlimited data plan, I just upgraded my phone to the RAZR 32gig. and still have unlimited data. unless I change my plan, the data will stay unlimited .

get the MAXX, I can kill mine in about 3 hrs! and that is NOT talking on the phone!

Been reading reviews about the Razr and most of them mention the poor battery life, may spend the extra $$ for the Maxx. As for Sprint, our landline and DirectTV are both thru Verizon so it makes sense for us to stay with Verizon.

My understanding is when you go 4g, they will take you off unlimited data

Edit: Just found this. Looks like you have to pay an unsubsidized price to keep the old plan, but it hasn't started yet, I guess.
