The fresh, always-something-new-here and up to date, chatty, thought provoking and original "Good Morning" or the timeworn, boring, jaded, near obsolete and run of the mill "Rt--Polo--Cyril---the chronicles...."

My vote is overwhelmingly in favor of the former. 'Nuff said.

I find I lose interest in long running threads and prefer shorter ones. Part of it is because I may think I have a comment to add but concerned it may have already been covered. Or worse, I already commented and forgot!

Can you be a little more specific? What does "Rt--Polo--Cyril---the chronicles...." mean? Are you saying that you like "gossip" threads better than "technical" threads?

Personally, I'm here to talk about tractors and generally avoid "chatty" threads where people tend to say a lot without saying anything. If I wanted "social" media, I'd go to Facebook. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for getting to know people if we share common interests, I just like to do things a bit differently.

Because you don't need 50 posts to view "Good Morning"

If you are reading this thread, that at least shows some interest in the chatty threads.

But this is not a chatty thread, it's an opinion thread. There's a big difference.
