GOOD THREAD!!
I usually pack Victorinox, there are 3 models I have, Spartan, Cybertool 29, and Cybertool 34.

Spartan for dress occasions, 34 for all time, 29 when I can't find the 34.

If I think I'll need it I'll also pack a Leatherman for the better pliers and bigger Phillips.

But the 24/7 is the 34. SWMBO bought it in the factory and had my name engraved on it. I rarely use it more than 20 times a day. :)

I carry a CRKT M16 something or other, one hand opener with pocket clip, a leatherman micro, and a crescent brand 4" crescent wrench. That combination has saved my butt numerous times.

Since the early 90s I have carried a Blackie Collins strut-n-cut. I love it. I have three more in storage just in case I lose this one.

I use a number of knives... some for work and some for general use. For work I use a Gerber airframe lockblade. It stays open when in use and I have had several years of great service. For an everyday knive in my pocket i carry either a Case stockman or a Case Trapper. As stated before ALL case knives are made in the USA and are guaranteed for life. Buck also makes fine knives, but some are made in the USA and some are made in China. The USA made Buck knives carry a lifetime warrranty as well, i am not sure about the foreign made knives. The brand of knife or kind of knife one carries is not as important as it is easy and dependable to use for the job at hand.

I've carried the same knife for 20 years. It was given to me by a neighbor. It is a Camillus, it's all metal, stamped "US". It has a date on the blade, 1988. I don't know much about it, my neighbor was a former Detroit cop, I don't know where he got it. I was told by a coworker that they were Army issue.

Been carrying a swiss army for years and use it every day for something. Also carry a kershaw work spring assist with pocket clip. Kershaws are really nice and can take a beating too.

I carry a Gerber multi-tool on my belt. I am always using the pliers or screwdriver for something and it is has a good knife. It is one of my favorite tools.

I carry a liner-lock type with a pocket clip for quick access and a smaller 3-bladed jack knife in the pocket for smaller, more detailed cutting; both are Bucks. I have a Leatherman Micra on my key ring and a couple other Leathermen in glove boxes, tote bags etc.

My philosophy is that you can never have too many flashlights, batteries, bulbs, knives, guns or bullets!

+1:thumbsup:

I have Gerber, Buck, Benchmade, Emerson, SERE, several multi tools; don't even know all I have and even gave a box away to my sons.
