Parts, Filters & such for Mahindra Tractors...

...where is the best & most reasonably priced place to buy them? I don't mind ordering them online or calling some place out of state as long as they have good prices & good service.

I need to service my 7520 4 WD Mahindra soon and need to get all the filters purchased in the next few days.

Would like to know who all of you folks use or recommend?

Thanks for the help and by the way, good to stop in and visit again. Been a while since I have been around.
So, you still have it. Did you get the slow hydraulics worked out? I buy from LaWall [on the forum]. Quick service. If you find an aftermarket hyd filter alternative Id like to know.

Me too. When it comes to the 7520 at least, cost was better from my dealer and he can get me ALL the filters. ;)

I don't know how far you are from Chattanooga TN but the Eastern Distbutor for Mahindra is located on hiway 153 near I-75

You can go to your local parts store and they will match up your filters for you and they are about a third of what Mahindra sells these filters for. Just an idea.

I have access to napa pro link, see cost and inventory at their pdc's. I only found one filter that cost more from Bills. The rest would have been more expensive through napa even with my cost plus 10% discount. The average joe would have paid more at napa then I did at Bills fwiw.
I have now lost 2 mahindra dealers and the last one was an hour away. I usually work the best deal I can, but sometimes, the best play isn't the cheapest and I won't even get into the running an oem filter benefits over crossed filters. The walmarts mentality works great until all the competition is gone.

You crack my *** up. Benefits of oem vs crossed over??? Lmao. Any filter sold in a parts store meets the same requirements as an oem filter. If you can find the filters cheaper thats kool, but im not into paying Mahindra 25 bucks for an 8 dollar filter from the parts store.

I think your words make a lot of sense. If u starve the dealer on all the little stuff... He may not be around when u need him for the big stuff. U save money now, a little. But when stuff breaks, and all the dealers around u went out of business... U may be stuck.

Independent Repair Shops are everywhere. They do a great job and dont bend ya over while doing it.

I think u make a great point, that much money can be saved. I do my own mechanical work, etc.

The other side also has a good case, IMO, in that warranty work needs a dealer, and so would trade in for new purchase. For me, I would like to have my dealer available for many years. If my local dealers disappear, and I need warranty work done 4 years from now... I'm not going to want to drive 2 or 3 states away for that service.

I don't think you are wrong. I think both perspectives have great points. You are wise to save money, IMO. It may also be wise to support your dealer...like buying insurance.

We don't disagree.
