What's your "go to" pocket knife?

Leatherman wave, lost it for three seasons, in the interim leatherman kick. Was happy when I found it in my winter coveys. Keep a closer eye on it now.

When I was working I carried the same 4 1/2" knife (closed) showed in the package, probably the best $10 work knife you could have. Now retired, I carry the 3 1/4" Swiss Army model shown below but almost never use it.

Oh, about belt carried multi tools...I have a Leatherman as well as a pair of Gerbers. Probably the most foolish tool purchases I have ever made.

Interesting thread. I like a good knife. My grandfather was a great knife sharpener. He could put an edge on a knife. I have one of his knives which is one of my prized possessions.

My daily carry is either a yellow handled Case or a yellow handled Moore Maker working knife.

I really like the Moore Maker's. They are hand made in Matador Texas.

I recently got a Case Razor as a gift, called a Barber knife, has a red and white stripe handle.

made in Ireland.

I have many folders,fixed blades, and two Gerber multipliers(1 plier,1 needle-nose)(Sog's,Gerbers,Bucks,Shrade,Case,Kabars etc).
I've been fiddlelin with knives since probably 10 years old. I remember Mom snoopin through my room at age about 14 and my switchblade dissapearing. :laughing:
Most of time carry 2 at a time.

In high school I loved my Bokker Tree Brand knife, excellent at taking and keeping an edge. later carried a Henry pocket knife, 3 blades.
When I began pistol pocket carry, it evicted my pocket knife. Glad it did.

I now carry a Leatherman Surge in a belt case, including an extra set of bits and the diamond/metal file exchangeable blade. Awesome knife!! I use it at least 10 times every day, sometimes 50 times a day. Have used all the blades it has, each is productive and gets the job done. Just over $100, and exceptionally worth it. Well made. lifetime warranty. Has saved me thousands of steps.

I have dismembered an entire Axis deer with only the Leatherman Surge. Saw blade actually cuts thru the sternum .... works when it is all you have!!!

Couldn't be happier with my Leatherman Surge, highly recommended.

Cold Steel if I want a sharp knife for cutting meat - dead or alive.

Schrade or Buck for everything else.

Leatherman Charge....it has a bit set that includes torx, allen and a bunch of other bits. I never leave home without it and if I do, I always regret it.
