I liked the term "stealth takeovers" LOL Ken Sweet

Guys don't count Soros out. He is old & flaky, but has a son waiting to take over his evil empire. Dream of 1 world goverment and the next step is control of the United Nations. He is almost there.:(

I know if I were a billionaire and wanting to make more money, I would invest/buy in gun companies/ammo makers. I think they are a pretty good investment with good profits.

That said, moral values go out the door when it comes to businessmen making money. Just my opinion on the way things work...

With all due respect, you are wrong.

Who in their right mind would go into business to Not Make Money.
How long can a company stay in business without making money???
Were it not for business's making money there would be No Jobs.
Without jobs, who pays the taxes to keep the Gov. running.

There are crooks, dishonest & greedy folks in all walks of life. But I would say that most folks that run a business are honest.

I was in business for around 35 years, I had to make money to stay in business. Had to make payroll for 1 to 14 people as well as take care of my own family.

The Gov. does not make money, It TAKES money from All Of Us. That's how it employes millions of people.

One need not be a billionaire to invest in promising stocks. There is no reason you cannot or should not put your money where your opinion is.

If you were a billionaire, and became one due to your own ability, likely your investment ideas would be different than those of your non-billionaire self.

So lets say that the AGPs(Anti Gun People) buy up all of the firearm companies in the US and shut them down. So what.

Making firearms is not Rocket Science. Remember guys in the backwoods, with limited tools, turned out some nice KY rifles. If the AGP shutdown the current arms companies, the market would still exist and most likely be a bigger market because of the shutdown. Other companies will hire the fired employees and start making product.

Frankly I don't see how any small group of AGPs could buy out ALL of the arms companies. There are so many small companies out there it is hard to keep track of them. I assume most of them are privately held and not on the stock market so buying them up to shut them down would be all but impossible.

Dan

You wouldn't have to do any of that...one can convert a machine shop to a firearms manufacturer without too much work (or money).
If there's a market, there will be manufacturers.
Or, we can go to Mexico and get all those firearms that were shipped by those unscrupulous gun dealers (at least, that's what that racist, Eric Holder, says...)

Nope, you would not have to hire experienced people but since they would be out of work and have the skills, another company would hire them.
