Another Neighbor Question

Wish you didn't already have the court mess. Best way I have found to get someone to steer clear of me is every time I see them ask to borrow something. Nothing valuable, just something that would annoy them , like ask to borrow a plunger, or a single AA battery, anything. After just a short while they will dodge you like the plague.

What is exactly the reason he can't drive short distance on your property? It is too late now I suppose but I would offer a deal to him. He could drive on my property and I could walk on his. He could say no then he will know why he can't drive on your property. The point is it will force him to say no first or show a good will you might benefit from.

We allowed our neighbor access to a small portion of our farm for years. When we refused to sell it, he was in the process of filling suit for ownership. Before it went anywhere, he and his brother became involved in the altercation leading to him selling out and moving.

This has been discussed on threads before; fortunately we did not have to pay lawyer fees just to retain control or ownership of our own property.

My uncle actually lost a small portion of his property in this manner.

Let the law work it's course. And don't go on his property to dispose of the fish again.

I didn't for this large amount but did for the small amounts. So you think I should just smell it and be happy?

The short answer is because I said so. He did once without permission and tore up my grass and told others in the area to go ahead also. We are way past settling anything. He is a bully as I said who thinks he can do anything in the area that he wants whether he owns the land or not. I am not the first to have trouble with this jerk but I have pushed back harder than anyone else.

We agree with this approach also. Just getting fed up with being a nice guy. We have been dealing with this jerk for 2 years now.
