Let some of it go, and make arguments designed to appeal to the Right, and keep your fingers out of their eyes; eye poking interferes with point-seeing. Oh, when we say we want all the forms of energy in our arsenal on a Monday, but screw-over coal on Tuesday, thump oil drilling on Wednesday, and battle fracking on Thursday, some on the Right will notice. Compromise on that to get the alternatives going gang-busters, and when we have alternatives to the point no one can deny, everyone will see the importance of saving petroleum for antique cars and tractors.
