Good luck with the new machine. I got a 2008. I see they upgraded the rear wheels and added to two studs to hold the wheel, while you sock it up. Wish I had that feature when I put the loaded rears on my BX25.

...and she's dirty, too :thumbsup: Nice setup...

Putting the loader down will make it much more stable. Take the weight off that front axle.

Jealous! I've only got my BX 2230 to play in the woods. Unfortunately, I have a good sized tree leaned over on a 20 degree slope to work on with only my bucket, no backhoe. Looks really fun!

@swick1: Thanks, I just didnt want to drop it on the concrete. I was looking for my water service line so I was digging easy, just peeling back the layers carefully. When I dig aggresssive I curl the bucket under and lock it in the dirt and go to town. I'm in the process of installing a PRV (U5B), double check backflow and a balll balve to add (extend) an irrigation system to my back yard. Having this hydraulic shovel sure makes the task fun. :D

@TEG:
Quote: I fyou are thinking about buying a L3200 or L3800, try raising the 3 point hitch very slowly with a box blade on... see if you can live with the Jerky Hitch - First!)

I had an L2800 with the jerky feature you mention. I found sliding the lever quiclky and smartly to where you wanted it eliminated the jerk that was felt. doing it slowly however did cause the jerking.

:D What worked best for me was to bug the dealer until he installed a Grand L valve... :p It works much much better...

I've had that quote on and off since I got to TBN... I've helped several people get their valves changed out... Now I keep it there to informed newbies to check out the machine *BEFORE* buying it and complaining afterwards. :2cents:

I should add that I was doing a few things that needed to raise the 3ph ever-so-slightly (600 lbs out on the end of a boom pole and fine grading), I can do that with the new valve.
