Electrical wire rating question

I am adding a couple of circuits for aux lighting. The Deere existing circuit only allows three aux lights of low wattage on the factory existing plug ins. Also the dealer several years back tapped into the circuit that runs the constant speed (poor man cruise control) for the aux power for the chipper electronics. They told me they were going to run a separate circuit and.did not. I figured as I did the one I would fix the other the way I thought it should be. I don't want to over-engineer the wiring but it seems most of the existing factory wire is smaller than I think it should be but I think AC wiring not 12 v DC.

I doubt the John Deere engineers are very far off. There is a penalty to pay for that, and John Deere does not want to pay it. Engineers make mistakes, but I give them the benefit of the doubt, and fix the mistakes as they present themselves.
