Threw this togher for the "camp", nuthin' wrong with weenies on a stick, but sometimes you need more! Found a suitable pc. of granite for the base & drilled a 1" hole to accept the 1" rod for the vertical rod that it all hangs and swivels on for height adjustment. I need to find a good old fashioned coffee percolator for some good camp coffee, that is if it's not beerthirty.

Very cool...fun stuff. I have done the same thing and stuck a water pipe
up thru it for a hose bib...

Last I set up a camp the wife was about to eat the last bite, the sweet bit, the bite you savor, THAN ONE bite that measures and defines all prior bites bites, of a hot dog.

Then a chip munch jumped up on the table and snatched it off her paper plate. I know I could have won 10K on funniest videos just for the look on her face.

Here is a cooker we use on the 4th of July. Doors on both sides so racks can slide either direction, PID controled damper on wood box maintains temp within 3 degrees. Shown here with 4 briskets, 6 chickens, 10#s of sausage, 20#s of squash and zucchini, 60 ears of corn, 60 bake potatoes and 6 loaves of bread.
