It is a pleasure to fly and easy to handle ... wind, even a slight breeze and its hard to get it back ... gotta get low and fly along the ground to bring it in.

I shopped alot of websites and these guys just seem to have the best selection and prices.

I'm shopping my next one ... 36" with a camera ... decisions !!!

$50 in parts ... that more than this one cost. Are you prone to planting it?

Yes and no, No, only because I stopped flying it. lol I have always flown RC aircraft but thought I would try a really good copter. Yes I can take it off and sort of hover but it didn't take much for it to get away on me. I chopped the boom with the rotor in a hard landing. $$$ Then I chipped a rotor when it tipped over. $$$
etc etc. The twin rotor jobs are very easy to fly and I love 'em. I tried one of the infra red ones but it got above the roof and the signal disappeared so I had to get the ladder out and retrieve it. Still goes but it is too easy for the dogs to catch. Soooo, I have 4 helicopters in my container in various stages of disorder and would love to add to them.....
I see most of the Syma ones are infra red so they are no good outside.
Hope you enjoy your new one. Don't wreck it.

Blueriver, I see someone recommended taping up to 3 quarters in the nose and this helps it fly forward better. I would try 2 for a start.:)

Ive been flying mine randomly outside during the day and the infra red seems to be okay ... get out of range and it DROPS out of the sky ... tough little machine!!

Yes, I see on the link that it is advertised as an outdoor chopper so I guess it must have a more powerful IR than the others. Hope you had a successful day at auction.

Well, like I said earlier, this was gonna cost me. Ended up getting me Trouble. That's the name of the mini horse Grammie ended up with from us going to the auction. Didn't find the horse there, BUT got a flyer that led to this guy. Oh well, after I build him a stall, I should have time to fly the Helicopter...:confused2:
