Of course I am a gearhead so when I first saw that thing my mind went to what engine and drive does it have but thats me.

Betting its got a single cyl Yanmar diesel horizontal shaft engine and hydro-stat but thats just a guess?

For tight places the Northern Tool Trencherman is a great backhoe. I have the older model- it has been great. Moves itself around or tow it with tractor, or pickup on the highway. -Cheap compared to this mini Yanmar excavator!

It says he has two cylinders diesel engine.

nice find, i suspected it would have been a small cc,d diesel. yanmar dont make petrol tractors. if they are to be petrol like a LG16 ride on it had a vanguard petrol motor in it. pity i cant read japanese.
