Question though- With all the toolbars available in the reply box, would it look nicer if it was condensed to 2 lines instead of 3 ?
I agree, seems like everything would fit in 1-2 lines (depending on screen size).

Muhammad just want to thank you and your staff for all your hard work on this upgrade. We truly appreciate your willingness to allow the TBN members to participate in the design. Your attitude is what makes TBN a special place! THANK YOU

Ditto!:thumbsup::cool:

Even before the change when I click on any menu item on the main page it drops down BEHIND the Mahindra video ad or behind the Surplus Center ad instead of OVER them. I thought it was because I use Chrome but it also does it in IE.

I've encountered similar problems before. Perhaps the Admins will find the following link useful for finding and applying the solution.

html - drop down menu over a flash file - Stack Overflow

Go to your profile, then click "find recent posts" ... it will return all of your posts. Find started threads will show just the threads you started.

I think it could be nice if the "Find recent posts" and "Find started threads" icons (buttons) were also on the top bar of forums In example as "My posts" and "My threads". I think it is freequently used function so it would be nice to have it as single click.
Submit Reply button could be also on the top of the editor. Othrwise I have to scroll to it.

Muhammad, I want to know whose idea it was to use a faint background tractor tread design to point at the advertising column in the forums? Whoever came up with that has my congratulations. It catches your eye without being distracting, and it sure brought a smile to my face the first time I saw it.

BTW: The only issue I've seen is the current page info overwriting some of the advertising text at the top of each page when reading a thread. It doesn't always do it, and I'm not sure what makes some pages look right and some overwrite.

EDIT: I added an example in the attachment.

yep.. the cat tracks/ag tread do look nice..

all in all it must have taken an extreme amount of work to get this all in place.

i'm quite impressed.

an no more take-over adds either!

I just noticed that the forum now fills my screen and the space that was formerly empty because I block ads is GONE! Now, I'm a happy camper.

Question...

Would it be possible to add BB code float capabilities for images embedded in posts, signatures, etc? Something like
and
, or [float=left][/float] and [float=right][/float] should suffice. A set of [clear]left-right-both[/clear] BB code tags would probably also be needed to clear the floats.

When I get to the bottom of a page there is no way to go back to the same forum without fishing through the "quick navigation" menu....kind of a pain. On the old format I could go back to the sub forum with a click on that quick nav button.

I know you must stil be working on things, but today any old post that I made in the past does not even show the thread envelope...it's just blank.

Even your old format was light years ahead of a few other forums I visit, the new one isn't bad, but will take some time getting to get used to it. Keep up the good work!

I think it could be nice if the "Find recent posts" and "Find started threads" icons (buttons) were also on the top bar of forums In example as "My posts" and "My threads". I think it is frequently used function so it would be nice to have it as single click.
Submit Reply button could be also on the top of the editor. Otherwise I have to scroll to it.

The function "Find recent post" showed the threads I contributed to, sort them by date, displayed those I already read in different color than those with unread post(s). Currently "Find recent posts" shows every post so it is cluttered and hard to tell if containing thread is read or unread.
