Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and an also in the market for a tractor and hope to buy in the next month or so. I'm looking for a machine in the 40-50 hp range and played with a 4035 today at the nearest dealer (about 40 miles). I've been lurking here on the site for a few days and have read all the reviews of the brands I'm looking at. New Holland, Mahindra and Massey are my main focuses currently. So, the main question is this:

Would you buy Mahindra again?

Thanks in advance

-Derek

My 2008 5525 is a real beast. No problems. Buy again--sure:thumbsup:

Hi all,

Would you buy Mahindra again?

My Mahindra is going on 4 years old now and it still starts and runs like the first day it arrived. I would say that I would choose another Mahindra specifically for the durability and reliability alone, even though some other brands might outclass Mahindra with some stylish ergonomics or fancy hoods. I figure it's a tractor not a car. It just needs to do it's job and do it every time.

YES, I've had my 4110 for 2 years and it has done everything I need without breaking a sweat. It is probably more than I need, but like I always say "go big or go home".

Yes, I studied tractors for about 4 months before I purchased my used 4500 with FEL. This was my first tractor and I am very pleased. But I think that just as important as the manufacture is to get the correct size and capability
for the task you need to do. Sounds like you already decided on the Hp (that took me about 2 months - Grin)
I made a decision early on that I would get a FEL. I was just getting over a major back problem and knew I would be working by my self a lot. I had a building renovation project and some demolish also to do on the property.
It has been a little over a year and it has been great. Don't know how I would have made it without my tractor and FEL.

If I had just needed a grass cutter and use a few 3 pt attachements I
would have went another direction. (smaller tractor with no FEL)
Good Luck

I wonder if OP picked a tractor yet. 9 month old post, right?

Count me as a yes on getting a mahindra. Nice tractor.

We did buy recently, a 4035. I've put about 20 hrs on so far and it is comfy and easy to use.

BTW, I asked the same question on some of the other brands threads and it generated no where near the number of pages and happy customers. Mahindra owners seem to be an enthusiastic bunch. Glad to be part of the clan.
