Thanks for the kind words Joemd11...that was the third stone I have had in about 9 years...the first one a person experiences is the worst as you really don't know what is happening to cause the pain, and my wife called the ambulance and I ended up in the ER and once there I felt really foolish upon learning the cause for my distress. Such a minor thing really, so the second and third times I stayed home and just guzzled lots of water to speed the little buggers thru my system. The ER cannot really do much aside from making you feel better by giving you pain meds and the only real thing they can do to speed the passage is to hydrate you. If you are having a stone and you CANNOT urinate or are getting blood in the urine, then by all means get to the ER. I didn't have any of those problems at all 3 instances. Live and learn.
Hit 98 here today, blisteringly hot and it is still 94 now.
