Hi,

today I was not able to get the loader onto our BX1860 - it seems like the right hand frame mount is angled slightly outward instead of facing straight ahead like the left hand side. Does anyone know where/what I should measure to check this, and is there any way to adjust it?

The last couple of times I put the FEL on it was hard to get both pins in - I would get one in, then have to get off the tractor and tug the bucket to one side to get the other to line up properly. Now no matter what I try I can't get it to line up.

Thanks,
Ord

I think about the only thing you can do is just back all the bolts out about 1 turn and see if it well move any by itself.
I would do it with the loader on and on a flat surface. All hyd. pressure off of the boom and the bucket flat on the surface. It just might help.

I took another look at it, and I can see now that the frame mount is bent. Not sure how I did that, or how I can straighten it.

I took the frame mount to a machine shop and they straightened it with their press. Now I can get the loader on again. Taking it off it sticks a bit - rolling the bucket back isn't enough to get it to lift off, I have to go and step on the front edge of the bucket to get the arms to lift out.

I had to do the same thing for the 1st few times taking it off. It went away by itself, it might of just been the paint making it tight fit.

glad you got it all taken care of.
question Have you watched the utube videos from messicks on taking loader off?

Thanks, I just went and watched it. There was another video I had watched before, posted here on tractorbynet that also showed the removal... I forget now who posted it.

I think my problems may have started when I tried to remove it one day with the teeth (ratchet-rake) installed, and on an uneven surface.
