Moved the trailer and there were two piles of this underneath. Please say it isn't termites...

What would you use to treat for these buggers? It's a little away from the house but right near the firewood stacks, not sure if any came in for the winter last year (or what I can do to keep them out for this year), but am open to suggestions.

The piles look large (maybe too large) to be the work of carpenter bees. Assuming your trailer has a wooden deck, look under the trailer for holes that look like they have been drilled. If that's the case, you have carpenter bees.

"Its not termites" (After all, you asked so nicely)

These piles almost look like leftover drill work ...
Unless the local union for carpenter bees meets at your place.

Are you certain no installation work for cables like TV/ Satellite/ Phone line or Plumbing occurred?

If I'm wrong and you see some mud tubes, one of the experts will be by shortly to educate both of us...

Carpenter bee, or bee's is what I think.. but he has been an industrious one... Look for 3/8 maybe a little bigger holes.

The more I look at the shavings. tho.. they seem kinda large and coarse for the bee.. the more I look the less sure I am... go check out the trailer and see about where they would have come from.. You may have the mother of all carpenter bees, or like the other poster said.. maybe this is the hand of man?

I had some ants get in my garage and they left sawdust that looks a lot like that.

OK, thanks everybody. I will pull up the boards and check and get back to everyone.

I would just crawl under the trailer to look for damage before I started pulling boards.

My vote is carpenter bees (I've got tons of them, I keep a tennis racket by my BBQ to whack-em).

I also agree with Steve (pretty often in fact) that you shold just climb under and look first.
