I saw it yesterday and put a deposit down on it. The only problem was a leak on the front wheel which the guy is going to fix. I can't wait to have it in my yard!

Good deal. I own a 88 JD 1050. Have had it for 20 years. No loader and no backhoe. Mine is for sale at 6500. Which I should not have any problem getting 6 k. Buy that tractor.
I just need to up size my equipment. Good luck.

Good for you! I'm actually surprised it was still available.
You should still be able to get a manual for it and I suggest that be your first purchase.

man, good for you that's a nice machine and really good price!!! I'm shocked the guy still had it, if I would've seen that back when I was in the market I would've bought it for sure

OK...got him down to $8,500. Putting more $$$ down on Thursday and have to rent a dual-axle trailer to bring it home. I am thinking of selling my BIG TEX single axle so that I can tow this JD around. Do any of you have suggestions on trading up to a larger trailer?

OK, here's another question. What would the approximate weight of this tractor be with loader and backhoe? I am renting a trailer and they need total weight.

The tractor itself is 3600 so add 2000 for the front end loader and backhoe, make it a even 6000 for safety sake.

Thanks! What is the length and width?

Measured my 1050 this am. It is 10.5 feet without loader and with harrow about 16 feet. With loader and backhoe you are going to need a 20 ft trailer with two 5000 lb axles and a 2 5/16 inch ball as minimum. Trailer weight will be about 4000 lb which leaves about 6000 lb payload. Hope this helps. Did you buy the tractor?
