GC2310 hydralic problem

I have owned my GC2310 since I bought it new in middle of 05. Great machine. While I was clearing a bunch of scub trees in the back area of our property I had the loader up about 6 to 7 feet and was backing away with a couple of small trees. I noticed the power steering stopped working and loader would not go up,or tilt. It did lower. The backhoe would not work any more either. I moved the tractor to a shaded area of lawn and lowered the loader and backhoe down to ground level. Now I cannot get either of them to operate. I do have a bad hose on the backhoe but I have kept oil in until I could get it fixed. I read others have experienced similar. Any ideas. I also need a detailed fix it manual. Any one no where I can get one reasonable.
I probaly screwed this thing up by not fixing it sooner, but I couldn't aford to have it down. Is it possible I blew some type of fuse by over loading it work wise. Never had any trouble before.

I don't have any specific knowledge of your hydraulic system but here's what I would do.

Make sure your fluid level is not low so the pumps suction line is uncovered. (Usually a pump sucking air and fluid will "scream".)
Put a "T" in one of the lines to the loader acuators and put a pressure gauge (I use a 5000 psi gauge just in case you get a pressure spike, you won't damage the gauge) on it and actuate the cylinder. Alternately put on in a remote and acuatate it. See if you have any pressure. If you don't it sounds like you pump drive sheared or the pump failed somehow. It's also possible your relief valve is stuck open.

It sounds like your pump drive sheared.

A mistake they made, and stuck us with.

If it is, your going to need a $2000 repair.

I expect to be next.

Wow 2,000. Can I replace this pump myself? I am trying to a locate a service manual to avoid dealerships if possible for that reason.

My understanding is more than the pump needs to be replaced.

When it shears, it takes out the drive gear. Apparently, the entire rear end needs to be removed and at least partially disassembled.

No one has ever mentioned doing it themselves, or suggested it would be a good idea to replace the pump BEFORE it shears.

I would like to know the answer to both these questions.

My nephew is a certified tractor mechanic with Catipiler. He just looked at it and also thinks it may be a pump situation and said he can fix it for me. He told me how to get the bucket and backhoe up enough to get into my garage and will start on it next week. My brother in law is also a certified tractor mechanic for IH and will be over tomorrow to see what he thinks. I hope to god between the two of them I can get this fixed.
I no what you mean about the pump being bad. Go to "Hydalics" and look up the posting put out by "hkapp" on page 52. He got his replaced for free. It appears the new the pumps were bad in 2005. They don't admit it unless you fight them. I'll let everyone no how mine turns out. Thanks every one.

I don't need to go there, I was on TBN when it all happened.
