Besides Worksaver who else make a heavy duty grapple for the 8560 with a split top grapple?

My stepdad has one from Blue Daimond. We have abused it pretty good on a Kubota M9540, and have not broke anything yet. A local dealer carries these and the ones from CAL. Both look about the same, but this one was a couple hundred less. I think either would be great.

This is the style I'm looking for HERE

I'm getting pricing around $3500 which seems a bit on the high side compared to what I read others have paid.

It seems that that style does cost more to buy. May I ask why that style?

keeping in mind I don't have any first hand experience with this attachment but as I'm told this style will allow you to dig the tines down to the depth of the reinforcing tubes between the tines to actually remove what ever it is you want to clear, be it brush, rocks or small stumps. I want to clear land so I would envision this being the most usefull tool.

Keep in mind that the loader frames on utility tractors are not really designed to take the beating that doing what you are talking about doing will put your 8560 through. That type of grubbing would be best done with a dozer and then a big skid steer. Don't get me wrong, the 8560 will do the job, I have done several acres with my setup. It sort of depends on just how much you are intending on doing and the type of earth that you have to work with. I did my work in top soil, but I don't think that I would want to do that type of work in any ground that was very difficult to work in.

The work that I did was with the grapple shown and with the leading edge about 8" in the ground. The root balls would usually pop up and lay in the bottom of the grapple.
