X2 on the Optima AGM battery. It cost more but your troubles with batteries are over for a long time.

Six years is more amazing considering that, little did I know, the OEM battery was not a maintenance free battery. Thirty years ago I remember having to check water levels and doing the little specific gravity check but it never dawned on me those types of batteries were still in use. I never gave this battery a second glance until it stopped working. I was very suprised to see it wasn't a "sealed" maintenance free battery. I might have got a few more years out of it if not for operator error.

i see more non sealed bats than sealed one.

most of the sealed ones I see are in oem automotive uses..
