Tractor
mf135
Hello all
My name is Jim McCluskey and I'm a member of our local Parish Council. Some time ago we bought a MF 135 to cut the grass on our sports field and the meadow we use as a car park down at our church. I have just retired and taken over the tractor and mowers from our previous driver who'se health isn't too good now and needs a break. This is new to me so I joined the Forum last night to glean titbits and info to help me keep the old MF working.
I was a welder at Shelbourne Reynolds engineering and some of you might be familiar with their equipment, in particular the stripper - header.
The tractor is a 1965 MF135ingood mechanical condition with solid but bashed - about bonnet and tinwork. No lights or cab but has a roll-over bar. Bob hand painted it last year in the right(ish) colours so from a distance it looks good. I always wanted a tractor but never had the use for one to enjoy it. Now I have and have caught the BUG big time.
When I,ve found out how to do it I'll post some Photos.
Thanks for the wellcome.
Regards
Jim

Many Thanks
My poor Massey isn't getting much exercise, we have had so much rain the country is starting to sink and the grass is going to give the Rhino a hard time when I get on with it.
Does anyone know if I can get a set of floats for a MF135?
Regards

You can send that rain this way. We badly need it. A few days ago we had a teaser storm. It got cloudy, the wind started blowing, thunder started rolling, and lightning. Then out comes a few drops of rain and it moved on.

By the way Welcome to TBN.

Thanks for the wellcome Chad
I saw in the news that a lot of your country is suffering from drought, and has been for some time. I now realise how weather affects what you get from your land and therefore the farmer's income.

Jim
