Inherited old Rhino 224

Hi, I'm new to this site and am about to begin work on a Rhino 224 that was running about 3 years ago. In fact, previous owner used this little tractor to dig fence posts for me at that time. The problem is I now have this tractor and it is no longer running and I could use some help in finding out what the most obvious parts to change or clean might be. What would YOU do first to determine why it won't start. Things I have thought of are removing and checking the fuel tank (clean and dry it out)...finding some online parts place to buy an ignition WITH a key (previous owner connected it manually)...buying an operating manual if one is available somewhere...and maybe buying a solenoid. I already purchased an adequate new battery. I do have a "picture book" parts manual...at least that is something. Well, I hope someone sees my post...and can give me a bit of info I can use to start this project...either with personal advice or telling me of a place that I can order parts for my tractor. Thanks.

Do you know if your Rhino is one of the ealy chinese import tractors? I remember some Rhino's were chinese, but from the given information, I have no way of knowing. If you think it is, you might have better luck in the Chinese Tractor sub forum of this site.

It does look old, but it has "assembled in the US" on the side of the instrument panel...Will look for a sub forum, as you suggested. Thanks for responding.
