if the outriggers arent lifting tires off the ground the tractor will be pulled back more easily lifting the tires off the ground will split the mach in two? first of all a case backhoe there is no frame like on a tractor the tranny is part of the support and when you lifted the tires off the ground which you allows did the mach didnt split in two lol grewup on one

Very strange indeed. My 2485 won't even think about lifting the unloaded tires on the DK40.

One more time, is the bucket down??? If so you are trying to lift the entire tractor- the outriggers will not do that. Put the bucket up and you are only lifting the rear tires, it should do that.

There is definetly something wrong if the stabilizers wont lift the tractor. If you cant lift one side, how can you level the machine when digging. Most of my digging with my B26 TLB is on unlevel ground so when I set the stabilizers, I put the one down on the high side first and firmly plate it taking all the weight off the axles, then I lift the low side till it is level. When I do that the low tire may be 4-6" off the ground.

with this being new as well. there is a good chance "air" is still within the hyd lines and cylinders. and you have not been keeping an eye on the hyd tank. to make sure it is kept full. other words dealer just installed. backhoe. filled up some hyd oil but never operated the backhoe and the stabilizers to work out the air. and if they did, they did not keep an eye on the hyd tank to keep it full as the air was purged.
are relief valves kicking in? or engine bogging down at lower idle? when you try to put stabilizers down.
double check that you have hyd hoses going to correct levers / hyd valves on backhoe/stabilizers as well.
i generally do not lift tires off ground. but will slightly take pressure off of tires. and/or raise one side to help level the rear end of the tractor. but the stabilizers should be able to lift rear end of tractor. not sure why anyone would build a backhoe were a stabilizer could not lift rear end of tractor. they are a important part of use of a backhoe.

quick note: going to a larger backhoe. means backhoe will more likely move more slowly. vs a smaller backhoe. (cylinder diameter sizes) on larger backhoe. will require more hyd oil to be pushed into them. on a larger tractor were GPM would be higher it would be no big deal. but on a smaller tractor were GPM is more likely not as much. the backhoe will move slower.
be careful with larger backhoe vs smaller size backhoe. the larger backhoe could put extra force on your tractor. what you might get away with smaller backhoe. may mean bending or breaking something with a larger backhoe. if the larger backhoe is not spec'ed / warranty for your tractor. example larger backhoe being able to lift more weight. and putting extra stress on rear end / tires / axles on tractor if stabilizers are not down.

As others have said, not normal, no.
The 2485 weighs 1102#, and is supposed to come with its relief set to 2466psi. Your
tractor puts out 2560psi. Check your pressures. I have seen new hoes with RVs
set 1000psi too high or 1000psi too low.
Admittedly, my hoe weighs more than the 2485, but it's outriggers can lift the
tractor no problem, even with the FEL bkt down. And that's with a CK30.
It is interesting that the 2485 is only slightly bigger than the 2475, digging only
4.5" deeper.
