Hi I have a hydro leak and was hoping to change out the o ring but I have no idea how to do this without tearing it to shreds. Any help would be appreciated. The leak is in the female coupler I believe. Thanks!
if you have a seal company near by go there with the coupler, like CC said it may not be just a O-ring. As far as getting the old one out use a pick shaped like a nut pick but made of a softer material like brass so you do not gouge the seat. You push the pick in on one side then hook the ring and pull it out.

It is simple, use a hooked pick to pull the old one out. Try to leave the backer [usually teflon, white] in there. Push the new o-ring past the groove and pull part of it into the groove with the backer towards the outside of the coupler. Then work it around to complete the install. You should end up with the o-ring then the backer in the coupler from inside to out, the o ring sould be closest to the poppet. CJ
