Looking for a chipper shredder for my DK-40 SE any help I could use. thanks...:confused:

Lots of good info on here. A lot of folks like the wallenstein, bearcat or chinese chippers (if you like to fix things). Personally ive got the wallenstein bx42, which has been great. It feeds itself pretty well, has a large opening for forked branches and is well built. You might be able to go up to the 6" on that tractor.

I like my Wallenstein BX62 very much, and I like that reading the many posts about chippers convinced me that I did not need the hydraulic feed option - TBN posters saved me money, thank you. I run my chipper on a 40 hp New Holland, so we have similar power.

PS: BX62 is a chipper only, does not shred stuff into fine pieces.
