CCY cross references

I'm at my wits end trying to cross reference the oil filter for my EX450. I don't like to buy from the Yanmar dealer, he is overpiced on everything, and I've had enough bad dealings with him in the past. (Warranty problems). One of my pet peeves is when a manufacturer specs his brand and p/n (which in the case of filters is a rebranded product), and from what I'm reading, Yanmars look to be rebranded Union from China!! I did find one reference that indicated the 129150-35160 filter crosses to Napa 57356. NAPA says that's for some oddball foreign car app that they don't even stock. Luberfiner may have a cross to thier PH2808- I can't really figure out thier cross reference. I'm going to call them. Any of you guys with the new Yanmars with the 4TNV88 engine are going to have the same problem I think.

The wix filter cross reference for that number is 51334, or Napa 1334. Maybe try one of those?

After yesterdays post, I called luberfiner and they verified that it was thier PH2808. Local distributor for them said it would take 4 - 6 weeks to get one in. Called NAPA and they cross referenced to 1334 from the PH2808, as you stated above. I appreciate the return. Now if I can figure out how to cross the hydraulic filter (194278-48300) I'll be in good shape. I have a hundred tach hours before I need it.

Looking at Messicks parts diagram for the EX450, it looks like their might be an updated part number of
CY-198119-48310 with a price of $19.74. I'm sure they can help you out with anything you need. Shipping shouldn't be much either.
