I dont know a whole lot about hydraulics and I have been wanting to add dual rear remotes for a while now, I finally have decided to get serious about it.... I attempted to upload a pic( not sure its uploaded) of a hydraulic loop located above the rear diff on my tractor, does this look like a good place to tap a new valve to operate the rear remotes? what purpose does this loop serve? thanks

That could be a hyd loop, but your manual should tell you what is what.

If it is a series loop, then your remote could be connected somewhere close.

I've searched my manual(purchased from sheaftractor from this forum) it doesnt indentify this hydraulic loop at all. Is it possible this is someones attempt at a power beyond kit, maybe for a backhoe that stayed connected 100% of the time? If so could I plumb a valve into the loop?

If that loop is a pressure line from the pump, you could install a hyd gage in a tee at the loop, and if it is going to the 3pt, it will show relief pressure when you activate the 3pt to full up.

In an open center series hyd connection, you can insert a new valve as long the PB fluid from the fluid is going downstream. The OUT of the new valve will go to tank.

You need to know which port is from the pump, That port will go to the IN port of the new valve.

You should be able to call the service department of the tractor manufacturer and speak to a technician in the shop for info.
